The Time-Back Calculator

You can always make more money. You can't make more hours. See how many an agent team could hand back to you.

Your week, honestly

Where do your hours actually go?

Slide each task to match a normal week. Then set how much of it an agent could reasonably take over. These are starting guesses, not promises, so adjust them until they feel true. Tasks that need your judgment should stay low.

What an hour of your time is worth$75/hr

Why measure it

Time is the real return on an AI agent

Most people judge software by its price tag. The better question is what the hours are worth. An agent that costs a few hundred dollars a month but hands back eight hours a week has a very different value for an owner billing $150 an hour than for someone whose time is worth $30. That's why this calculator starts with your hours and your rate, not ours.

It also explains why we push people to start narrow. The tasks that give back the most time are usually the repetitive, predictable ones: answering the same questions, chasing the same follow-ups, moving the same data from one screen to another. Those are exactly the jobs a single, well-built agent handles well. The judgment calls, relationships and closing stay with you.

How to get honest numbers

  1. Track one real week. Jot down every repetitive task and roughly how long it took. Your gut usually underestimates email and phone time.
  2. Be conservative on the "agent could handle" slider. If a task needs your judgment half the time, keep the percentage low. Better to be pleasantly surprised.
  3. Price your hour honestly. Use what you bill, or what it would cost to hire someone to do the work you'd do instead.
  4. Compare against real pricing. Check the starting prices for each agent rank, then decide whether the hours are worth it to you.
Fair warning: nobody can guarantee hours saved. Results depend on your workflows, your tools and how much you let agents handle. The Agent Blueprint is where we pressure-test these numbers against your real setup before you spend a dollar on development.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is the Time-Back Calculator?

It is only as accurate as the numbers you enter. It multiplies your weekly hours by the share you believe an agent could handle, across 50 working weeks. It is a planning tool, not a guarantee.

What share of a task can an AI agent handle?

It depends on how repetitive and rule-based the task is. Answering routine calls or sending review requests can be largely handled by an agent, while anything that needs judgment, negotiation or a relationship should stay mostly with you.

How do I value an hour of my time?

Use what you bill clients per hour, or what it would cost to hire someone to cover the work you would do with that time. Some owners simply value the hours for family and rest.

What should I do with the results?

Take the tasks that return the most hours into the Agent Factory to get a starting estimate on the agents that handle them, then request an Agent Blueprint to confirm the plan against your real tools.
